My name is Michelle Ratley and I am the owner of this exciting new company based in Shelbina, Missouri. We opened in November 2014 and have been adding new lines of fabric, notions, and classes almost monthly. I am a retired band director with several years teaching experience. I have a husband, Adam, who retired from the Air Force and together, we have 2 children. Jordan will be a senior this next year, loves playing her French horn, studying foreign languages and getting ready to go off to college. Joshua will be a sophomore, enjoys computer games as well as his tenor saxophone. In the spring, he loves to run Track.

I have always admired quilts and the stories they have to tell. I am especially drawn to the quilting that is done to hold them together. I used to say that "I piece to quilt" but am now finding myself constantly looking for that next pattern to piece together. I do have a long arm quilting machine that I love to spend hours hand-guiding over the treasures that my customers bring in. It allows me to be part of the process of so many different quilts that I would never have time to make on my own. I always feel honored to be included.

I love to teach and share ideas with others. I offer several quilt classes throughout the year to accommodate all levels and interests. Teaching is a passion of mine and it is so nice to be able to continue it now that I am not in the school environment anymore.
